Effect of riboflavin treatment on human red cell pyruvate kinase deficiency

Abstract The effect of riboflavin on six patients with hemolytic anemia due to here-ditary pyruvate kinase deficiency was studied. Treatment over a period of four to six months produced no significant hematologie or enzymologic changes in the variants investigated.
