Zweiphasen-Szintigraphie in der Differentialdiagnose gefäßreicher und gefäßarmer intrahepatischer raumfordernder Prozesse

1970
A two-stage scanning procedure is described which is used to differentiate vascular from non-vascular localized intrahepatic lesions. The first examination is preferably performed with 99mTc colloid or 113mIn, pH 7, as the first step in discovering and characterizing the space-occupying lesion. The second scan is preferentially performed by the intravenous injection of 113mIn, pH 1.7, when there is no longer any activity left from the first examination. This second scan provides information about the blood content of the previously recognized lesion. There was good correlation between the results of two-stage scanning, coeliac angiography and the final clinical and/or pathological findings.
