The invention relates to a production method of a sugar cube. According to the invention, L-arabinose with a mass percentage of 1-10% is added into crystal refined sugar, wherein the addition of the L-arabinose is carried out in a manner of a solution with a mass percentage concentration of 40-80%. The materials are sufficiently well mixed; the mixture is dried until a water content is below 0.8%; and the material can be manufactured into sugar cubes. With the method provided by the invention, the produced sugar cube has a refined sugar taste. With the L-arabinose, human body absorption of sugar can be inhibited, such that excessive intake of sugar can be prevented.
