Conceptual development for a clean environment

2020
Abstract At the global level, the conceptual development for a clean environment started with the world’s first mega scale summit, the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit of 1992, followed by Millennium Development Goals, 2000, and Sustainable Development Goals, 2015. Global environmental treaties have been putting great effort into promoting cooperation at the international level to mitigate the load of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere causing global warming, depletion of ozone layer, and climatic changes. In connection to this, ways to impose action plans through environment technology have been discussed. In addition, short-term energy security and long-term energy security majors are highlighted to maintain a perfect link between environment conservation and durability. The author has given emphasis to keeping transparency in action taken by developed countries at the level of international organizations, and to promote the harmonization of minimum standards for international governance through an administrative procedures treaty.
