Estimación de los parámetros de rendimiento para un rectificador controlado monofásico mediante la técnica PWM de múltiples pulsos

This article presents the application of the Multiple Pulse Width Modulation technique in the control of a monophase semiconverter, which let estimation of some performance parameters like efficiency, form factor, ripple factor and power factor. Control stage is based in operational amplifiers arrays and a PIC16F84 microcontroller, while power stage is based in diodes and power MOSFETs. From tests using a resistive load, performance graphics were obtained for different number of pulses and pulse width. Results can be compared with those obtained during application of the phase control technique for demonstrating PWM technique presents better performance parameters.
