Impact of Information Industry on Employment in Hebei Province——Analysis Based on Input-Output Method

As a strategic emergent industry,the information industry is playing an important as well as profound role in the whole economy,with deeper impact on the up-grading of industry structure,the accumulation of human capital,and the changing of employment patterns.To scientifically measure the impact of information industry on employment in Hebei province,the paper analyzes relative problems in employment area,mainly based on the input-output charts ranging from 2002 to 2007,and then offers references for making industrial development programs and employment policies.
