Seal material and display device

The invention provides a seal material and a display device. The seal material contains a photo-initiator and a photo-luminescence material. The photo-luminescence material absorbs first light in a first wavelength range and is used for generating second light in a second wavelength range, wherein the second light is used for exciting the photo-initiator to make the seal material generate polymerization reaction. The display device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a seal layer and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate and the second structure are opposite each other. The seal layer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate for bonding the first substrate and the second substrate. The seal layer contains the seal material. The liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate and is surrounded by the seal layer.
