El espacio-ambiente desde la perspectiva de las escuelas de Reggio Emilia

This dissertation deals with the origin and theoretical foundations of the educational proposal of Reggio Emilia. The aim is to understand the role played by the spaceatmosphere in the Reggio Emilia schools, which is the core subject of my study. A survey has been carried out among preschool teachers to found out their knowledge on the subject. Likewise, the similarities and differences of the space-atmosphere are analyzed, by comparing the facades, playgrounds and classrooms of Reggio Emilia schools with the same elements in some public schools in the province of Segovia. The goal of this analysis is to show in a visual way how the use of design and aesthetics of the school s space influences the children s development and learning.
