Odor recognition and fatigue

1982
For nine odorants commonly used by the gas industry, laboratory experiments generated 1) human threshold values for odor detection and odor recognition, 2) dose-response relationships, and 3) data on changes in odor-intensity perception with length of exposure. It was concluded that the warning capabilities of the nine odorants satisfy federal requirements.
