MEDIDAS DO GOVERNO DO ESPÍRITO SANTO SE CORRELACIONAM COM A CONTENÇÃO DO AVANÇO DA COVID-19

Covid-19 is a respiratory infection that causes the serious pandemic that hits the world in 2020. In the absence of pharmacological measures to contain it, several governments, including the state of Espirito Santo’s government, have adopted measures of social isolation to contain the advance of the virus. Thus, this article aims to analyze the correlation between the measures taken by the government of Espirito Santo and the advance of Covid-19 in its territory. For this purpose, a descriptive study was carried out, by means of a documentary survey of the norms and quantitative data related to the pandemic in the territory, analyzing its growth pattern at different times. Its results demonstrated the effectiveness of these rules and a consequent reduction in the rate of growth of cases, enabling the continuity of government actions and their expansion to other territories.
