CT Evaluation of Small-Diameter Coronary Artery Stents: Effect of an Integrated Circuit Detector with Iterative Reconstruction

The implementation of an integrated-circuit detector with 0.5-mm beam collimation provides substantially sharper out-of-plane resolution at CT of small-diameter coronary artery stents in an ex vivo analysis, while the use of iterative image reconstruction favorably contributes to improved in-plane stent visualization that is independent of stent diameter and heart rate.
