Image mirroring display method and apparatus thereof

Provided are an image mirroring display method and an apparatus thereof, which are applied to an Android data processing system. The method comprises: operating a pre-stored virtual screen copy program with an Android shell user identity, so as to obtain an image displayed on a virtual screen in an Android data processing system, the image displayed on the virtual screen being the same as a current screen image displayed on a display inside the Android data processing system; processing and saving the image displayed on the virtual screen in the Android data processing system; and connecting the Android data processing system to an external display device through a connection channel, so as to send the saved image displayed on the virtual screen in the Android data processing system to the external display device through the connection channel. By means of the method and apparatus, image mirroring display of the existing data processing system and external display device can be realized without obtaining the root right of the existing data processing system, and the existing data processing system does not need to be changed greatly.
