Compared Study on History and Current Situation of Traditional Medicine in China and Viet-Nam

Surveying the origin and development of traditional medicine of each dynasty in Viet Nam and China comprehensively it was found that both medicines were all originated from the ancient times. Their theoretic system came down in one continuous line and passed through thousands years without any attenuation. The intercommunion between them carried out with a long history. The governments of both countries paid attention to the inheritance and development of these traditional medicines. The developing tactics in each position was established and brought into operation making these two different medicine system of traditional medicine and western medicine coexisted coordinately. Otherwise the traditional medicine of Viet-Nam has its own particular character,such as there was plenty of local officinal plants with high quality and cheapness,and some special characteristics in diagnosis and treatment was formed during the long period of medical treatment practice.
