Análisis de la influencia del cambio climático en el municipio de Tocancipá

2019
With the development and industrialization that the municipality of Tocancipa has had, as it is part of the upper basin of the Bogota River, which has greater pressure in terms of water resources throughout the country (runoff and groundwater), The effects of climate change have not been long in coming, the increase in the use of fossil fuels and the emissions of greenhouse gases from different sectors have caused variations in climate, visible throughout the savannah and other areas region of. For this analysis, it is necessary to contemplate the different activities that are developed with greater prevalence in the Municipal territory, such as: Mining, high, medium and low impact industry, agroindustry (floriculture and livestock) and urban expansion. The increase of maximum temperatures present in the municipality of Tocancipa is increasingly frequent, has caused events of forest fires, floods, mass removals and other mitigable emergency factors. Similarly, the hydrological cycle has been affected, the increase or decrease of precipitation, with stronger intensities and increasingly shorter periods, cause flood events and torrential floods. These changes in the hydrological cycle in turn generate events such as mass removals, floods and forest fires that have generated emergency events in different sectors of the municipality placing the integrity of some communities at risk. The future impact will be dangers, generating complications to the different ecosystems that are within the municipality, impacting the community when resources begin to be scarce, such as water, and in 2014 a water source called the Zanjon located in the Canavita path disappeared due to mining activity and climate change, I stop being a permanent cause to an intermittent cause, for more interpretation only see water run when it rains. The aim is to analyze the influence that climate change has on the municipal territory in order to understand a little more what may be contributing to generate it and be able to propose alternatives that can help reduce it.
