EFICÁCIA DA TELENFERMAGEM NA REDUÇÃO DO PESO E QUALIDADE DE VIDA DE ADULTOS

2021
Objective: To identify in the literature the knowledge produced about the effectiveness of telenursing in the quality of life and weight reduction of overweight and obese adults. Method: Integrative literature review, including randomized controlled clinical trials published in the following databases: CINAHL, BVS, PUBMED, Web of Science, Embase and Google Scholar. The search for articles, selection, data extraction and methodological evaluation using the JBI's risk assessment tool, were carried out by two reviewers independently. Results: 363 studies were identified, five of which were selected. All of them tested the effectiveness of telenursing in reducing weight, with three combining this tool with telemonitoring equipment. One study evaluated telenursing for quality of life. Most studies had a low methodological risk (n = 4; 80%). Conclusion: Telenursing is an effective tool in reducing the weight of adults, and the results are enhanced when calls are made with a minimum weekly frequency, however, the limited number of studies that evaluated the quality of life of overweight and obese adults was insufficient to affirm the effectiveness of this intervention.
