Fiber optic sensor for simultaneous leak detection of hydrazine and nitrogen dioxide gases

Hydrazine and nitrogen dioxide hypergolic propellants are hazardous gases. This paper experimentally demonstrates, for the first time to our knowledge, the development of a fiber optic sensor for simultaneous leak monitoring of both gases at room temperature and pressure.
