Goal-directedness and its relation to inhibitory control among toddlers

Abstract To test the hypothesis that the development of goal-directedness depends on the development of inhibitory control, 30 children ages 25–29 months were assessed on two batteries of tasks designed to measure each construct. The findings provide strong support for the hypothesized relation.
