Method and radio network controller (RNC) for determining cycle of terminal feedback channel quality indication (CQI)

The invention provides a method for determining the cycle of terminal feedback channel quality indication (CQI) and a radio network controller (RNC), wherein the method comprises the following steps that the RNC determines the cycle of the terminal feedback CQI according to an uplink load; the cycle increases as the uplink load increases; and the RNC informs a terminal of the determined CQI feedback cycle. According to the method and the RNC for determining the cycle of terminal feedback (CQI), the channel quality indication feedback cycle is determined more accurately.
