Persistence of Four Herbicides in Pond Water

IN panded 1958, Congress Project for authorized Aquatic the Weed Expanded Project for Aquatic Weed Control (Public Law 85-500). This project is administered by the Army Corps of Engineers in cooperation with other federal and state agencies in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas in the combined interests of navigation, flood control, agriculture, fish and wildlife conservation, public health, and related purposes. The program includes field operations for the control of aquatic weeds and research to develop more effective and economical methods of chemical and nonchemical control.
