The invention relates to a cooling and dehumidification method applied to a temperature and humidity independent control system. Specific air channel circulation is adopted for combining an indirect evaporation cooling device and a rotation wheel dehumidification device, the evaporation cooling device is used for pre-cooling fresh air and in-depth dehumidification is carried out on the fresh air through the rotation wheel dehumidification device. Finally, the evaporation cooling device is used for reducing the temperature. After multiple times of circulation, the indoor humidity loads can be totally removed and the temperature is slightly lower than the room temperature of the air. The method is applied to the temperature and humidity independent control system. Meanwhile, regeneration air is used for providing heat energy for the rotation wheel dehumidification device to achieve the effect of recycling energy. The cooling and dehumidification method can be widely applied to an air supply system, mainly used for performing dehumidification, in the temperature and humidity independent control system.
