Study on Preparation of Counter Electrodes for Trans-flexible Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
2021
Flexible dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have the advantages of bendability, easy of fabrication and low-cost. They are often used in the fields of wearable electronics and flexible devices. In this study, a flexible metal titanium foil coated with TiO2 film was used as the photoanode, and poly (3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT: PSS) was transferred to ITO-PET as the counter electrode by screen printing and spin coating respectively for the preparation of trans-flexible DSSCs. The UV-Vis, photocurrent density-voltage (J-V) curve and other test methods were used to study the photoelectric properties of DSSCs prepared under different technology conditions. The results show that the transmittance of the flexible counter electrode prepared by the two processes is above 85%, and the photoelectric conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of trans-flexible DSSCs prepared by the spin coating and screen printing method are 1.7% and 1.33% respectively. The solar energy can be fully absorbed by the DSSCs through above research processes, and the industrialization process of flexible dye-sensitized solar cells will be accelerated.
