Media Content Distribution Strategy in RS System

With the growth of IPTV subscriber,many problems as network congestion,slow in system response and short in edge cache capacity have appeared.This paper,in the light of RS system,propose a media content storage and distribution strategy base on the statistic of popularity for programs.It classifies programs by the statistic of the click number.Programs of different classes are storaged and distributed or deleted according to different strategy.The strategy has optimized the system performance,improved the service quality,and greatly raised the utilization of system resource.
