Die morphologische und funktionelle Pathologie der Geschwülste der Adenohypophyse bei Hunden

Zusammenfassung Ohne Berucksichtigung der Hypophysengangsgeschwulste (Kraniopharyngeome) sind bei Hunden bisher 53 Blastome der Adenohypophyse mitgeteilt worden, die durch 12 eigene Beobachtungen vervollstandigt werden. Nach dem histologischen Aufbau werden 26 basophile Adenome, 13 chromophobe Adenome, 6 Mischzellenadenome, 4 eosinophile Adenome, 1 fetales Adenom und 4 Adenokarzinome beschrieben. Bei 8 Hunden fuhrten die Blastome zu keinen Krankheitserscheinungen. Bei 10 Hunden traten neurale Symptome in den Vordergrund. Bei 12 Hunden uberwogen die Symptome der Zwischenhirnlasionen wie Diabetes insipidus (3 Hunde) und Dystrophia adiposo-genitalis (9 Hunde). Ein Hypopituitarismus lag in 3 Fallen vor. Eine hormonelle Aktivitat der Hypophysengeschwulste konnte in 28 Fallen mit Morbus Cushing, in einem Fall mit Akromegalie und in 2 Fallen mit Diabetes mellitus angenommen werden. Summary The morphology and functional pathology of tumours of the adenohypophysis in the dog Leaving out tumours of the pituitary canal (cranio-pharyngeoma) a total of 53 tumours of the adenohypophysis have been described, to which the author adds 12 cases of his own. Based on the histological structure they consist of 26 basophil adenomas, 13 chromophobe adenomas, 6 mixed cell adenomas, 4 eosinophil adenomas, 1 foetal adenoma, and 4 adenocarcinomas. In 8 dogs the tumours caused no clinical signs, in 10 dogs the most predominant symptoms were neurological ones and in 12 animals symptoms were associated with lesions of the diencephalon such as Diabetes insipidus (3 dogs) and Dystrophia adiposo-genitalis (9 dogs). Hypopituitarism occurred in 3 dogs. Hormonal activity of a pituitary tumour could be inferred in 28 animals with the Cushing syndrome, in 1 case with acromegaly and in 2 with Diabetes mellitus. Selon la structure histologique on a decrit 26 adenomes basophiles, 13 adenomes chromophobes, 6 adenomes a cellules mixtes, 4 adenomes eosinophiles, 1 adenome foetal et 4 adeno-carcinomes. Chez 8 chiens les tumeurs ne provoquerent aucun symptome. Chez 10 chiens les troubles nerveux dominaient. Chez 12 animaux on observa surtout des symptomes consecutifs aux lesions du cerveau intermediaire tels que diabete insipide (3 chiens) et dystrophie adiposo-genitale (9 chiens). De l'hypopituitarisme se manifesta dans 3 cas. Une activite hormonale des tumeurs hypophysaires put etre admise dans 28 cas de maladie de Cushing, un cas d'acromegalie et un cas de diabete sucre. Resumen La patologia morfologica y funcional de los tumores de la adenohipofisis en los perros Sin considerar los tumores del meato hipofisario (craneofaringeomas), hasta la fecha se han descrito en perros 53 blastomas de la adenohipofisis, los cuales se completan con 12 observaciones propias. Segun la estructura histologica, se describen 26 adenomas basofilos, 13 adenomas cromofobos, 6 adenomas de celulas mixtas, 4 adenomas eosinofilos, 1 adenoma fetal y 4 adenocarcinomas. En 8 perros, los blastomas no ocasionaban sintomas nosologicos. En 10 perros aparecian en primer plano sintomas neurales. En 12 perros predominaban los sintomas de lesions diencefalicas, tales como diabetes insipida (3 casos) y distrofia adiposogenital (9 casos). Hipopituitarismo se registro 3 veces. Actividad hormonal de los tumores pituitarios pudo admitirse en 28 casos con enfermedad de Cushing, en un caso de acromegalia y en 2 casos con diabetes glucosurica.
