The waterproof coating comprises the following components in parts by weight: 500-700 parts of redispersible latex powder, 2.8-3.3 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 280-320 parts of cement, 180-220 parts of heavy calcium carbonate powder, 180-220 parts of quartz powder and 280-320 parts of quartz sand. Solid and powdery redispersible latex powder and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose are used, and liquid polymer latex is not used anymore, so that the precision of proportions of prepared materials is improved, the ratio of polymers to inorganic substances is strictly controlled, and the quality of the waterproof coating is ensured. The waterproof coating is convenient to use in construction, and can be used by only adding water according to a proportion in the field. The waterproof coating is convenient to transport, thereby avoiding unavailability due to leakage of liquid materials in the process of transportation.
