The development of a concept to remedy the damage to the public sewer system is part of the drainage master plan for the city of Montevideo, Uruguay. It comprises the identification and documentation of the structural and functional state of the sewer system, the classification of damage, the selection of methods for remedial action bearing in mind the local technical and economic context, as well as a cost estimate including time schedules and priority plans for the implementation of the suggested measures.
