The nonequilibrium part of the photoinduced magnetization in semimagnetic semiconductors

The optical orientation in semimagnetic semiconductors is studied. It is shown that in the absence of an external magnetic field the nonequilibrium photomagnetization is certainly greater than the equilibrium photomagnetization, connected with cooling of the magnetic ions by the oriented electrons.
