Myocardial bridging of the left anterior descending coronary artery.

2009
Background: A 24-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency department after a prolonged episode of severe cardiac palpitations and general ill-feeling. She had a prior history of several episodes of cardiac arrhythmia only during and immediately after exercising. Laboratory tests showed slightly elevated troponines. Clinical examination was unremarkable with a sinus rhythm around 120 bpm. The electrocardiogram (ECG) and bicycle stress testing showed no clear indication of myocardial ischemia.
