The invention discloses a large-size scanning measuring device and a method based on the distance measurement with laser and Bluetooth transmission, which belongs to the technical field of industrial large-size geometric dimension measuring. The measuring device comprises a laser rangefinder, a mechanical turntable mechanism and a servo control system. The invention mainly comprises a base, a bottom screw arranged at the lower end of the base, a supporting frame arranged at the upper end of the base, a servo motor connected with the supporting frame, a rotating center shaft, a loading platform and the laser rangefinder. The laser rangefinder can rotate in the horizontal plane and achieve arbitrary quick and accurate orientation under the control of the servo control system. The measuring method comprises the steps: the terminal determination of the workpiece to be measured; the length measurement of a linear workpiece; and the inner diameter fitting measurement of a circle workpiece. The device has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, convenient experimental operation, high speed measurement, and the measurement accuracy meeting the requirements of industrial large-size measurements.
