Soft magnetic properties of amorphous and nanocrystalline Fe80Zr4Ti3B12Cu1 alloy

Abstract The soft magnetic properties of the amorphous and nanocrystalline Fe 80 Zr 4 Ti 3 B 12 Cu 1 alloy have been studied. It was found that replacing of 3 at% Zr by Ti atoms in the Fe 80 Zr 7 B 12 Cu 1 alloy improves their magnetic properties. The nanocrystalline Fe 80 Zr 4 Ti 3 B 12 Cu 1 alloy offers high saturation magnetic flux density and excellent soft magnetic properties at elevated temperatures. Moreover, the investigated alloy exhibits good thermal and frequency stability.
