A new Zn(II) coordination compound: Anti-inflammatory activity in myocarditis

2017
ABSTRACTA new coordination compound, namely [Zn(3-tba)2(H2O)2] [1, Htba = 3-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)benzoic acid)], has been synthesized under a hydrothermal condition using a triazolate-carboxylate bifunctional organic ligand Htba. The structure of 1 shows a twofold interpenetrating 2D net with sql topology, which further forms a 3D supermolecular by pi-pi stacking. The experimental results of anti-inflammatory activity showed that compared with organic ligand Htba, the title Zn(II) coordination compound 1 exerted rather potent activities.
