La producción del espacio abstracto capitalista según Henry Lefebvre y el proyecto moderno en la construcción de Brasilia

2017
The abstract space configuration, characteristic of capitalism according to Henri Lefebvre, maintains a relation with the modern project because both imply a form of violence that is expressed in the urban sphere and the modernization processes. About this, Brasilia is one particular case: this ex novo city rises a phallic monumentality which makes visible the notion of power, negating historicity, since it conceives space as mere territory and not as a social product. This space production expresses the image of capitalism and, with that, the city loses itself as a common wealth.
