THE PIAL CIRCULATION OF NORMAL, NON-ANESTHETIZED ANIMALS PART 1. DESCRIPTION OF A METHOD OF OBSERVATION
1941
A method is described for prolonged observation of blood vessels supplying the cerebral cortex of non-anesthetized animals. Cats and monkeys have been studied so far, but the technique may be applied to other animals. A brief description is given of the outgrowth of repair tissue from the meninges. Some of the limitations of the method are mentioned.
