2.30 – Rheo-Optics

Rheo-optics involves simultaneous investigations of both rheological and optical properties of systems to gain deep insights into complex rheological responses on the basis of optical responses of fundamental structural elements of the systems to applied mechanical stimuli. This chapter consists of four sections and deals with various polymer systems such as amorphous and crystalline polymers in bulk, polymer solutions, polymer blends, and block copolymers.
