Composition of the essential oil of Salvia sahendica Boiss. and Buhse

Abstract The essential oil of the aerial parts of Salvia sahendica Boiss. et Buhse. has been analyzed by a combination of GC and GC/MS. Among the 24 components identified in this oil, α-pinene (29.4%) and β-pinene (34.8%) were found to be the major constituents.
