The installing method comprises the steps that 1, the steel column is vertically lifted to the installing position; 2, the bottom end of the steel column is temporarily fixed to the ground; 3, a lifting machine moves the top end of the steel column through a steel wire rope to enable the steel column to be inclined, and an ultrasonic rangefinder is arranged on the lateral portion of the bottom end of the steel column and is used for measuring the distance between the ground and the inclined steel column in real time; when the distance between the ground and the inclined steel column reaches the set distance, the lifting machine stops moving the steel column, and after positioning is completed, the top end of the steel column is temporarily fixed; and 4, after building is completed, the top end and the bottom end of the steel column are finally fixedly connected. According to the installing method for the inclined steel column, the horizontal distance of the ultrasonic rangefinder relative to the bottom end of the steel column is known, the vertical distance of the ultrasonic rangefinder relative to the inclined steel column is worked out according to the set angle, then the steel column is pulled in real time, and when the measured distance reaches the vertical distance, positioning is completed; positioning of the angle of the inclined steel column is precise, and the positioning speed is high.
