Hydrodynamic Characteristics Analysis of Expendable BathyThermograph Probe

In this paperthe authors use numerical simulation method to analyze the flow field distribution around the XBT probe and study the impact of hydrodynamic characteristics on the underwater posture stability. The analysis shows that the streamlined structure design of probe can effectively reduce the resistance of the probe in water and can maintain the posture stability in the falling process.
