Role of Intraoperative Frozen Section in Defining the Extent of Surgery in Endometrial Carcinoma: An Indian Experience

Purpose The role of frozen section in the intraoperative decision making about the extent of surgical staging is controversial. The study was undertaken to evaluate the role of the frozen section and its agreement to histopathology in determining the tumor grade and depth of the tumor invasion in carcinoma endometrium at our center.
