Diethylstilbestrol liver carcinogenicity and modification of DNA in rats
1993
Abstract Administration of diethylstilbestrol to female Sprague - Dawley rats at 10 mg/kg body weight daily by gavage for 1 year induced liver adenomas and carcinomas and pituitary adenomas. Using the 32 P-postlabeling assay for DNA alterations, at 24 h after administration of a single dose of 100 mg/kg, modified bases were found.
