Plastic properties of ionic crystals in the crossed static and microwave magnetic fields in the conditions of the electron paramagnetic resonance are studied. It is revealed that the coincidence of the energy of a quantum of a microwave field with the energy of Zeeman splitting of electronic spin sublevels leads to resonant weakening of the ionic crystals. The thermo-excited short-lived states (10-8 -10-9 s) of metastable aggregates of the paramagnetic defects are responsible for crystals weakening in the magnetic fields.
