The present invention is directed to apply a MicroRNA-7 nervous system inhibition of glial; wherein the nervous system glial into major pathological processes in diseases, MicroRNA-7 via direct binding glia maturation factor beta mRNA of the 3-UTR end, negatively regulate expression GMFB protein, by inhibiting gliosis, inhibition of inflammatory cytokine production, so that anti-apoptotic neuroprotection. Compared with the prior art, the present invention is the first time that overexpression in rat retinal Muller cell lines MicroRNA-7, can be reduced GMFB expression, inhibition of inflammatory cytokine production. MicroRNA-7 first confirmed by binding directly to the end of the 3-UTR of GMFB mRNA, expression of regulatory proteins Gadd45g.
