The present invention relates to a micro structured substrate of liquid sample carrier comprising a lower face and an upper face which comprises, firstly, at least one volume V0 of surface recess opening on said upper face and forming an analysis area of the liquid sample and the other, a first groove of a first volume V1, arranged around each cavity surface and opening on its upper face. According to the invention, this substrate is characterized in that it further comprises at least one second groove (14,15,16) opening out on its upper face and disposed around the first groove (13), the sum of the volumes of second grooves being equal to V2, the volume V1 + V2 being greater than or equal to 0.05 V0, preferably 0.1 V0. The invention also relates to an analysis assembly comprising the substrate and its use.
