Análise custo/benefício do sistema de detecção de incêndio de diversas zonas da Plataforma de Pampo-1

A cost/benefit analysis of some proposed modifications of the fire detection system presently installed at Pampo-1 offshore platform in the Campos Oil Basin is presented in this work. The cost of each proposed alternative is evaluated and compared with the expected benefits, including both safety and economic aspects. This analysis has clearly indicated the viability of changing the present configuration of the fire detection system in 13 zones of the platform, with an annual net benefit of over US$ 100,000.00 considering the system reliability aspects and the level of risk to onboard personnel.
