The invention discloses a supported catalyst for heterogeneous catalytic ozonation. The supported catalyst is prepared from 40-50wt% of magnesium oxide, 10-20wt% of calcium hydroxide, 10-20wt% of natural powder quartz or natural mountain flour, 10-12wt% of an activator composition and 5-10wt% of a foaming agent, wherein the activator composition is prepared from ferric oxide, copper oxide, manganese oxide, aluminum oxide and cobaltous oxide. By using manganese oxide, calcium hydroxide and powder quartz which are reacted with water and carbon dioxide to generate a magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate particle carrier, a roasting process is avoided. The activators include various metal oxides which are uniformly distributed in foamed holes to generate the supported catalyst. Compared with the prior art, the catalyst has the advantages that 1, high-temperature roasting is not needed, and the catalyst is prepared at normal temperature and has a remarkable energy-saving effect; 2, the catalyst is free of potential safety hazards and environmental pollution in production operation; 3, the production method is simple and the equipment investment is less; and 4, the catalyst is high in catalytic activity, has various activator components, and is suitable for different sewage treatment.
