On some probabilistic models for software reliability

2009
Software reliability is one of the important parameters of software quality and system dependability and it is defined as the probability of failure-free software operation in a specified environment for a specified period of time. A software reliability model describes software failures as a random process which is characterized in either times of failures or the number of failures at fixed times.
