The authors utilize these individualized sets of circumstances and responses as the guide to informed treatment. Sprang and McNeil have put together a brief, but thorough and focused, examination of some areas of grief that have not been sufficiently emphasized. It can be particularly llseful for the clinician who encounters people who are experiencing traumatic and stigmatized forms of grief.
