Tiempo de adherencia a terapia antirretroviral y su asociación con parámetros bioquímicos en pacientes de la unidad de atención integral VIH/SIDA. Manta 2018

2019
The research showed the importance of analyzing the adherence time with its initial scheme (Tenofovir, Efavirenz, Entrecitabine) and combined therapies. The challenge was to achieve if the viral load is controlled and thus be able to increase the CD4 cell count, because thanks to this can contribute to improving quality of life. The objective of the research approach; to analyze the adherence time to antiretroviral therapy and its association with biochemical parameters in patients of the Unit of Integral Attention HIV/AIDS, Manta. The research is of descriptive design, such as a retrospective and explanatory longitudinal study, where the aim was to characterize or describe the population under study and, at the same time, the association between variables was analyzed. For the analysis and presentation of results, the GraphPad Prism program was used, where an analysis of variance (ANOVA) was carried out with a post test of Tukey´s. The total population analyzed was 82 patients. In general, it was observed that the lipid profile is the one that is most altered and second that therapy with ABC+3TC+RALTEGRAVIR is the scheme least affected by this profile. The lipid profile according to TDF+3TC+EFAVIRENZ therapy showed a significant increase in seric triglyceride values. With the present investigation it was concluded that the adherence time to antiretroviral therapy did not affect the serum concentrations of urea, creatinine, glucose and transaminases in patients with HIV positive.
