THEORETICAL FUNDAMENTALS CONCERNING THE TRANSMISSION CHANNELS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE EXTERNAL EQUILIBRIUM

2013
The external equilibrium plays an important part in the foundation of the economic position of a country or a region on the world map. Generally speaking, the world economy is based on a comprehensive system of economic, social, political, etc. interdependences at the national, regional and international level, which can influence or even dramatically change the functioning of the national economy so that the problem of external competitiveness becomes extremely sensitive. The situation turns even more delicate when analyzing the impact of macroeconomic shocks on the external equilibrium. In these circumstances, the article 2 aims to look at the transmission mechanisms of macroeconomic shocks on the external equilibrium by analyzing the main features of the transmission channels.
