This Paper mainly studies the First Phase NSFC -Guangdong Joint Fund Project based on the Database of SCIE,and makes quantitative analysis on the published SCIE papers from the aspects of its published output,the research direction,institutions and regional distribution,impact factor and Chinese Academy of Sciences,and etc.,in order to make early assessment and recommendations on the NSFC -Guangdong Joint Fund Project.
