In this diploma thesis, an attempt was made to describe the educational system in Greece in terms of computer science teaching. Specifically, this diploma consists of three thematic units. In the first section there is a historical overview of the cognitive field of the computer lesson and a description of the curriculum in Greek schools as well as the applied teaching methods at the school level. In the second thematic section, there is a presentation of the existing educational technology and its use in the educational process, as well as an extensive reference to applications for supporting e-learning at school level. Finally, the third subject presents a qualitative research based on a questionnaire responded electronically by students of junior High school, with which we investigated the relationship of students and their level of familiarity with computers and tele-education.
