The invention discloses a water storage roof which is composed of roof protruding edges, a water storage tank, a water collecting channel, roof walls, a water collecting channel inclined bottom, water inlets, water discharging holes, in-tank uprights, tank body reinforced hoops, a tank base, a tank top, a tank cavity, a seepage-resistant layer, water inlet upper lips, water inlet lower lips, water discharging hole outer openings, water discharging hole cavities and water discharging hole inner openings. The water storage roof is characterized in that the water storage tank with the oval cross section is arranged in the space defined by the portions, above the roof walls, of the roof protruding edges, the top of the water storage tank is an arc panel made of a color steel plate sold in market, wherein the surface of the color steel plate is color steel lining foam, the thickness of the arc panel is 10cm-20cm, and the arc panel is supported by the in-tank uprights; the bottom of the water storage tank is formed by reinforced concrete in the mode of pouring; the water inlets with the height of 1m-1.5m and the width of 0.5m-1m are formed in the upper edges of the two sides of the water storage tank at every 5m-10m; the tank body reinforced hoops are arranged on the surface of the water storage tank at every 5m; the water storage tank is placed on the tank base. The water storage roof is easy to manufacture, strong in operability, low in cost and obvious in effect.
